At nine years of age, Jessica was thrust into an adult world. Her childhood innocence was cruelly stripped from her by the brutal ravages of cancer. While stretched to the absolute limit of unimaginable pain and suffering, something unseen, some driving force was noticeably present throughout her incredible journey.  


Her unwavering faith in God coupled with her unquenchable desire to achieve her goal to triumph over cancer, was absolutely riveting even to the skeptical of mind. She met each challenge with determination and clear intent to never lose her focus, while all along imparting valuable lessons to those fortunate enough to witness her bravely face each battle.


Jessica’s near death experience reflects a chapter in her life that was an undeniable driving force in her ultimate acceptance of her own destiny. How is it possible to embrace both life and death simultaneously? While not something easily understood, the end result is a profound understanding that it is not only possible, but Jessica herself held the secret.
