S.Yamamoto (1855-1943), was born in Okayama, Japan. He opened his photo studio in Beijing in 1897. After 1901, he opened a branch in Tianjin. He often shot Beijing scenery photos. Yamamoto received professional training, a love of Chinese culture with Japanese specific persistent and serious, his photograph widespread.
