Finding Luna

Today was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. The day I would stand before my pack, my mate, and the Moon Goddess herself, and vow to bind my soul to Rafe’s for eternity.
But as I stare at my reflection in the mirror, the joy I should feel is overshadowed by a hollow ache deep within me.
Something is missing. *I* am missing.
My wolf, Kali, is gone. She’s been silent for so long, her absence a gaping void in my soul. Rafe says he doesn’t care, that we’ll solve this together, that everything will be alright. His words are meant to comfort me, and his kisses are tender, his smiles reassuring. But how can he not care? How can he not be disappointed? He deserves a Luna-strong, whole, and connected to her wolf. And right now, that’s not who I am.
The Moon Goddess has spoken to me, her voice a whisper in my dreams. She’s given me clues, fragments of a path I must follow to reclaim what I’ve lost. But the pieces don’t make sense, and the journey feels impossible. This is my burden to bear, my challenge to overcome. No one can do it for me. Not even Rafe.
I can see it in the way the pack looks at me-doubt flickering in their eyes, questions they’re too polite to ask. They need a Luna, someone to guide and protect them, someone who embodies the strength and spirit of the wolf. And I... I feel like a shadow of who I should be. A mate without her wolf, a Luna without her power.
But I won’t give up. I can’t.
Somewhere out there, Kali is waiting for me. My wolf, my other half, the missing piece of my soul. I won’t stop searching, no matter how long it takes or how difficult the path becomes. I’ll follow the Moon Goddess’s clues, no matter how cryptic they seem. I’ll face every challenge, endure every trial, and fight with everything I have to find her.
Because until I find Kali, I’ll never truly find myself.
