Giselle

In Spain, during the time of the Inquisition, when the power of the Church was almost absolute, an inquisitor, in his struggle to obtain more power, and under the pretext of "saving souls from sin," committed all sorts of crimes. His mistress, a beautiful and ambitious woman, joined him, plotting traps for the people he wanted to condemn.

 Thus, she became an accomplice to the crimes her lover committed. However, she met a man who awakened her to a great love, inspiring her to change her life.
