An illustrated account of a trip to Hampi, which used to be the capital of Vijayanagara, an empire that ruled Southern India in the 14th-16th centuries.  Covers the history, mythology, and geography of the place, and describes the various temples, ruins, and monoliths in detail.  Includes photos, videos, and songs.  The book is bilingual: most of the text is in Kannada, and figure captions and other descriptive material is in English.
