Most parents will agree that grandparents' main role is to provide love and care for the grandchildren. However, today's reality is complex. A lot of parents are spending more time outside the house, and many children grow up in single-parent families, due to a high divorce rate. This reality forces the grandparents an additional role – being involved in their grandchildren's upbringing.
