Holiday Bliss

A charity bachelor auction. A forbidden age-gap romance. And one very merry holiday temptation.

I never expected to be the bachelor everyone was bidding on this Christmas.

Especially not her.

At forty, my life is finally under control. I’m an assistant coach for the Atlanta Thunder, fresh off a championship season, and a single dad to an eight-year-old daughter. My ex-wife and I co-parent like pros, and after a decade of uncertainty, I’m finally settled.

Then I enter a charity bachelor auction on a dare.

And my daughter’s twenty-five-year-old figure skating coach buys me.

It’s supposed to be one innocent holiday date.

It isn’t.

She’s beautiful. Sweet. Talented. Amazing with my daughter.

And she wants me.

The fifteen-year age gap should be enough to make me walk away.

The fact that she’s my daughter’s coach should make this completely off-limits.

But there’s something about the holidays that makes impossible things feel possible.

One date turns into stolen kisses beneath twinkling lights.

A holiday fling starts feeling dangerously like forever.

And suddenly, the biggest risk of my life isn’t on the ice.

It’s falling for the woman I never saw coming.
