Summon and Supply

Justin Talemaker has survived dungeons, dragons, and a very bad few months in the Frozen North and on another planet.

Now he's up against something worse: the cost of rent in Belmora.

The Templars have sent Justin and his party to investigate the wealthy Aurelian family, whose fingerprints are all over a trafficking ring tied to the necromancer Count Valdrik. But getting close to the Aurelians means getting close to high society, and that takes money, connections, and a convincing cover story.

So Justin opens a business, borrowing an idea from Earth: supplies summoned at the tap of a finger.

Summon & Supply is a magical courier service in the rough streets of Mudside. One charm summons a courier, and potions arrive at the customer's door. It's the perfect front, and with the Entrepreneur Trial hanging over his head, it's also a real test of everything a Socialite is supposed to be good at.

But Belmora's elite play by their own rules. Lady Myrelle of House Corrin is charming, capable, and not who she appears to be. The women Justin pulls out of the Aurelians' reach have their own secrets. And in the criminal underworld, a figure called the Shadowscale is watching a new competitor with interest.

Charisma opens doors. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop knives.
