Publisher Description
Add a little twist to your outfit when you don this knitted Hat with cables. You’ll work in the round with a circular knitting needle; the pattern alternates a simple cable with a twist. The crowning touch is a knit drawstring cord to weave through the spaces formed by the last round of cables. This project’s Shopping List includes light weight yarn (approximately two hanks equaling 144 yards [133 meters] per hank), 16” [40.5 cm] circular knitting needle, Size 6 [4 mm] double-pointed needles, two Size 6 [4 mm] needles, a cable needle and marker. The Hat’s finished size is 20” circumference x 8” high [51 cm x 20.5 cm]. Pattern gauge is approximately 26 stitches and 36 rows = 4” [10 cm]. The suggested skill level to complete this project is rated as “intermediate”. The Hat is from original publication 5648 – Take the Fear Out of Cables.
