Publisher Description

Cushion is a beautifully rich, cabled knit pattern drawing attention to its design. Alternating front and back cables forms a braided effect. The Cushion is made all in one piece and wrapped around a pillow form. This project uses four balls of bulky weight yarn (each 3.5 oz. ball equals 120 yards [100 grams, 109 meters]), straight Size 10 [6 mm] knitting needles, with additional supplies listed as a cable needle, yarn needle, pins, 18” [45.5 cm] square pillow form, 1.5” [4 cm] button, sewing needle and matching thread. The finished size of the knit Cushion is 16” wide x 37” long [40.5 cm x 91.5 cm], before sewing. The suggested skill level to complete this project is rated as “intermediate”. The cabled Cushion pattern is from original publication 5648 - Take the Fear Out of Cables.
