In Prescott’s beautiful forest, Ben, a doctor, found a woman who had fallen. She looked scared, as if she were being chased, so he took her into his arms until she calmed down. But even then she couldn’t recall her own name. For the time being, Ben named her Fall. As a confirmed bachelor, he had no desire to get involved with anyone, but Fall’s memory is gone and he’s the only one she can rely on. Though he senses there’s something dangerous in her past, Ben decides to take her home with him.
