Up The River With Kangapoo And Possumpoo

Kangapoo and Possumpoo live in Kakadu, Australia, along with their friends, Cockapoo, Magpoo, Turtapoo and the cranky Crocapoo.

All of these animals live together in a bush community near East Alligator River, where they enjoy going on adventures or just sitting around eating crispy bush flies and eucalyptus juice on the river bank. Kangapoo and Possumpoo take a ride up the river on Turtapoos back. Turtapoo decides to take a nap, leaving Kangapoo and Possumpoo stranded.

Possumpoo finds a tin to ride on the water, but Kangapoo is left behind.
Cockapoo comes to the rescue, by finding planks and ropes for Kangapoo.
Cockapoo drags Kangapoo up the river, but unfortunately Cockapoo becomes
tangled up. Poor Kangapoo is tossed into the air!

What will happen to Kangapoo and Cockapoo? Will they be Crocapoos lunch!
The end of the story captures their sense of humour which rises above all of
their problems.
Kangapoo realises how lucky he is to be back home, but Possumpoo is only
interested in his stomach. So Possumpoo ends the day with crispy bush flies
and eucalyptus juice for dinner.
