It is a war being waged against the middle class, the working class, the elderly, people of color, women, the environment, and our financial and social safety net. The enemies are corporate greed, intolerance, racism, bigotry, and lack of empathy wrapped with a bow tie of purposeful ignorance and hate. No longer the party of Eisenhower or Reagan—today's Republican party has embraced all matter of hate as its core being. This book is a call for Latinos to unite and commit to progressivism in support of the common good.
