Wilson Focus School

The Wilson Focus School started out as a collaboration between three districts and became the first Nebraska Focus School open to all of the Learning Community.  It began as the Underwood Hills Focus School and continues now through the vision of the Omaha Public Schools as the Wilson Focus School. We are open to all eleven metro area districts.  The school promotes a theme and extra value standards based upon Leadership, Technology & Communication. The school has been an innovative model that has been highly successful in reaching all students. The school has an extended calendar and extended day with enrichment classes that keep students connected and prepare them for the future.  Innovation and creativity are at the schools core within a STEAM base.  This unique school incorporates 1:1 technology and has many flexible spaces within an environment of positivity.  The school has strong evidence of success and the trend data demonstrates that this urban school is making a difference.  There are many factors that make this one of the best school models around!  We are in our tenth year of changing the educational landscape.
