Florida Bar J. Charles Shores

This is a petition to review the referee's denial of a petition for reinstatement to membership in The Florida Bar. We have jurisdiction pursuant to article V, section 15, of the Florida Constitution and approve the findings and recommendation of the referee. In the proceedings below the referee found that the petitioner, J. Charles Shores, Jr., was suspended from the practice of law by Order of the Supreme Court of Florida dated August 28, 1987 for his failure to comply with the Court's December 1986 opinion as well as the Petitioner's February 17, 1986 Consent Judgment. This Consent required him, among other things, to refrain from the use of alcohol and to comply with the contract entered into between himself and FLA, Inc.
