Publisher Description

Lisa Gail Gallimore appeals her bench trial conviction for involuntary mans laughter. She argues that she cannot be held criminally responsible for the death of James Branscome because her actions were not criminal in nature and were not a foreseeable cause of Keith Southern shooting Branscome. We affirm because the evidence supports a finding that Gallimore was guilty of negligence or reckless conduct that was so gross and culpable as to indicate a callous disregard for human life and that her actions were the proximate cause or a Concurring cause of Branscomes death.
