Images of Africa

This book is a photo journal of photos and videos taken during trips to South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania. It also includes information I learned about the people and animals of Africa.  It's main purpose, however,  is to educate readers to be aware of the devastating crisis faced by elephants today and of the work being done by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (www.dswt.org).  One elephant is being killed by poachers every 15 minutes.  The elephants need our voice! Time is running out. It's in our hands! All the profits of this book are going to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. As their website (dswt.org) states the Trust is "today the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world and one of the pioneering conservations organizations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa."
