Malone v. Equitas Reinsurance Limited

APPEALS from an order of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, Kurt J. Lewin, Judge. Affirmed. This case is just one of many in which individual underwriters at Lloyd's of London have sued English entities in the United States based on events that occurred in England. The trial court dismissed the action for lack of personal jurisdiction. We conclude that defendants did not have the requisite contacts with the State of California and affirm.
