Sails to Sequins

This is a story about friendship, family drama, and a young woman's path to finding her place in the world. Follow along on Maggie's travels as she finds that her love for her globetrotting job isn't as straightforward as she once believed!

If Maggie weren't a twin, she would think she was adopted.  A misfit in her wealthy Southern family, she turns her back on her trust fund and her judgmental mother's ceaseless matchmaking, to work on a mega-yacht.  Five years in she's loving life and visiting exotic ports of call with crewmates as close as family.

But it all starts to unravel when her best friend falls in love and leaves the yacht.  As the crew dynamic changes Maggie's future becomes even more uncertain when she finds herself increasingly attracted to a handsome passenger.

With the help of her long-lost maternal grandmother Maggie starts to understand the power she has been giving her mother by constantly refuting everything she stands for.  Is she making life decisions simply to thwart her overbearing parent? 

Can she find a way to live in her mother's world without losing her sense of self? Can she let go enough to allow herself to fall in love?
