As Grant focuses on the foundation and framing of the main residence, the project hits a wall—not of wood, but of scarcity. A massive supply chain shortage threatens to stall the build indefinitely, forcing Grant to pivot to the "Sterling Standard" of resourcefulness.

Armed with a portable sawmill and timber harvested directly from the Ridge, the family learns that the strongest structures are the ones you grow yourself. With Leo (7) and Sophie (5) marking the studs and Maya anchoring the family through the sawdust, the Sterling residence begins to take its true shape.
