Undercover Pursuit

He's Nuts About Her But Hiding It. She Already Knows.

Fall, 1949

Jenny Nicolay knows a thing or two about deception. After all, she learned from the best. Her father.

Now she's returning to Boston to confront the wanted conman whose scandal ruined her family name—and could derail her dreams of becoming a CIA agent. Even her birth records don't add up. And when dear old Dad claims he was framed by a notorious Irish mob, Jenny has a new problem. She wouldn't trust the man to tell her the time of day, much less the truth about a criminal conspiracy.

Fortunately, Sawyer Finn is along for the ride. The handsome Texan is equally determined to earn his place in the CIA. Assuming he can keep his feelings for his headstrong partner under wraps.

Unfortunately, the Nine Kings aren't ordinary mobsters. With crooked cops on their payroll and a price on Jenny and Sawyer's heads, bringing down the gang requires a few convincing disguises, some creative deception, and an alarming amount of improvisation. Good thing Jenny's whole life has been undercover training.

Can Jenny and Sawyer outwit the Irish mob, clear her name, and earn their place in the CIA? Or will their first undercover adventure be their last?

Irish mobsters, outrageous disguises, and two would-be CIA agents with more nerve than experience. In Boston, Jenny and Sawyer are about to discover that trouble runs in the family.
