Village Brown Deer v. City Milwaukee

Action by the Village of Brown Deer against the City of Milwaukee, the Town of Granville and its town clerk, and Joint Union High School District of the Town of Granville and Village of Brown Deer, for declaratory judgment that certain ordinances adopted by the plaintiff for the annexation of territory are valid, that ordinances for the consolidation of the Town of Granville into the City of Milwaukee are invalid and do not affect the above-mentioned annexations nor a pending annexation of additional territory to plaintiff known as the Laun Annexation, that an ordinance purporting to annex certain territory to the City of Milwaukee is invalid, and for an injunction against the exercise of municipal or high school jurisdiction by the City of Milwaukee in the territory of the Town of Granville. For convenience the plaintiff will be referred to as Brown Deer, the City of Milwaukee as Milwaukee, the Town of Granville as Granville, and the Joint Union High School District as the high school district.
