Publisher Description

Members of the American Psychotherapy Association and other experts speak out about what a change to the nation's health care means to mental health. The country is one step closer to some sort of nationalized health care reform, now that the House of Representatives passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962) on November 7, 2009. It passed by a very slim margin--a vote of 220-215. Like the voices in Congress, members of the American Psychotherapy Association have mixed views about what reform will mean for their practices.
