Beyond Good and Evil

Nietzsche against the philosophers: their systems are confessions, their morality is a herd's, and the will to truth is a will to power in a starched collar. He published it himself in 1886 after his publisher refused it, and sold barely a hundred copies in its first year. The two hundred and ninety-six numbered sections are meant to be read out of order, and one whole chapter of them is epigrams.
