Catholic Practices Book: The Lord Wants To Protect His People

The Lord wants to protect His people. He invites us to gather to the stakes of Zion “for a defense, and for a refuge from the storm” (D&C 115:6; emphasis added). That doesn’t mean we’ll be spared from the trials of life, but the following seven principles, taught in the Doctrine and Covenants, can help protect us from the adversary and ensure that when difficulties arise “all things shall work together for good” (D&C 90:24).
