Comments on Colossians

Paul’s letter to the Colossians seeks to correct a series of rash errors which had infiltrated the Colossian church. These included a hotchpotch of legalistic observances of a Jewish nature along with more pagan ideas, such as the worship of angelic mediators and the harsh treatment of the body. However, these errors came in because the Colossians were “not holding to the Head.” In that there is a strong message for 21st Century Christians.
