The Centre for Excellence in Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology – CP³-Origins was established by the Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) and opened on the 1st of September 2009 at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. 

At the end of each year, we summarise some of the centre’s highlights and research visions in the CP3-Origins Black Books. These books are created for colleagues and physics students, but are aimed at everyone who wishes be kept up-to-date on one of the world’s most fascinating areas of research. The previous six books can be downloaded from our website.

Four years ago, we introduced the interactive iBlack Book which is freely downloadable on iTunes, and features enriched content for a more entertaining and comprehensive reading experience. This pioneering way of scientific reporting has enabled us to reach a wider audience, and to more fully communicate our work. I am therefore thrilled to announce the fifth iBlack Book.
