EASA CBIR and EIR IFR Communications

This book helps you to develop a solid foundation for your Competency Based Instrument Rating (CBIR) or En-Route Instrument rating (EIR).

 

CBIR Communications covers all the knowledge you need to know to pass the CBIR IFR Communications exam.  Although the CBIR syllabus does not explicitly mandate VFR Comms studies we have included VFR procedures for revision and the sake of completeness. Be aware, ICAO RT procedures can differ subtly from local RT customs.


This book is written by pilots for pilots and is designed to give you a basic grounding in all the essential communications principles. We use clear, simple diagrams to show examples of practical situations. We take you through all the common scenarios - and the uncommon ones!   


The subjects covered in this book are a mandatory part of the CBIR and EIR syllabi and, as such, form an integral part of our Padpilot CBIR course.
