It was hard for Mack to tell what Richard and Helene conspired every time he came to visit Richard at her apartment. It often took them long to get him inside and once he was in, the displeasing aura of what they had cooked up behind closed doors aroused questions he’d dared not to utter. It was same for Tony and Osula and it was never habitual for their concern.
