Amazing Combination of Great Smut and Great Plot
Gentle Scars is the second book in the To Be Claimed saga. The first one, Wounded Kiss, should be read first as the storyline from the first one connects to this one.
This book’s main focus is on the new couple Veronica and Vince and their story. Their relationship brought new and fresh flavor to the mix.
I love the growth between Dom and Lizzie and the way Dom and Caleb love her warms my heart so much. They are so sweet and loving.
Devin and Grace, I love how she still pushes Devin to tell her things and wants to be involved and not just blindly trust him and be kept in the dark. My heart broke when Devin told Grace about his past.
It ends on a cliffhanger, which got me throwing my iPad across my bed.
This book is fast-paced, has a lot of spice, some kinks, and still has a great plot.
