Jac's Heritage Book

7th grade students produced My Heritage Project iBooks as part of a unit on Perceptions. During the course of this project students explored how their surroundings, including family, ethnicity, and heritage, have helped shaped them. Students considered the question, “Who Am I?” in relation to their family background, language, culture, and personal experiences. Students created a BioPoem, Character Profile, Family Tree and Personal Narrative.  All their research, writing, and creativity was captured in an original heritage iBook, a kind of personal and family keepsake.
