Karate Adventures of Kisho, Hana & Nobu

This story is the first in a series of upcoming books that take children through a journey to discover the many important life lessons to be learned. Through the friendship between Kisho, the monkey, Hana , the Panda Bear and Nobu, the Tiger, children are transported to the island of Okinawa. Here they are introduced to the history and culture of the island. Okinawa is best known as the birthplace of Karate. Here, the three friends tackle every day issues that affect our children today, with the help of this ancient form of martial arts. They make important self discoveries through the help of their Sensei, Ryu the Dragon and Dakai , the Wise Old Tree. In this story Hana and Kisho learn , with the help of their friend Nobu that it does not matter what you look like, what shape or size you are. Anyone can do Karate as long as you use your heart, your spirit and your willpower- "Kokoro". In the end , the three friends come to the happy conclusion that "Karate is for Everyone!"
