Lead Follower

Fame and fortune.  Power to influence lives.  Ability to make a difference in the world.  These things serve as motivators for achievement and many dream of soaring to the top by taking the lead on the path to the pinnacle of success. The world calls those who reach such heights “leaders in their field.”  But what if a person had accomplished all of this while ignoring God's calling for them to do something entirely different with their life?


By the world's standards, “leaders in their field” would be considered great examples of success, but that does not necessarily equate to greatness in God's Kingdom—where it really matters. This is why the body of Christ, or the “church” as we are called, needs to derive its definition of a great leader from the only infallible source—the written Word of God.
