The very first book about the existence of Major Thomas B.McGuire, Jr., one of this nation's most embellished troopers ever. McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey, is named for America's number two all-time expert. He was granted America's most noteworthy honors, including the Congressional Medal of Honor, Dist. Administration Cross, six Dist. Flying Crosses, three Silver Stars, three Purple Hearts, 14 Air Medals, and others in two years of WWII battle. He kicked the bucket in shutting days of the conflict saving a partner's life. The book contains an up until recently never distributed letter from Charles Lindbergh to McGuire's widow. Lindbergh had gotten to know McGuire, flying battle with him in SW Pacific. The book incorporates 50 photos.
