Miss-Spelled

Some spells were never meant to be spoken.

Sometimes, magic finds you when you least expect it.

Born from forgotten manuscripts, rediscovered stories, and a touch of Halloween serendipity, Miss-Spelled: Tales of Misplaced Magic brings together three darkly enchanting tales in which magic takes an unexpected turn.

From the humorous complications of dating after divorce to the seductive shadows of dark magic, these stories explore what happens when the supernatural refuses to follow the rules. Written decades apart, each tale reveals a different side of magic gone wrong—where good intentions can have unforeseen consequences, desire can lead down dangerous paths, and a seemingly harmless spell can change everything.

For the author, the collection began with a search through boxes of old manuscripts during a major life transition. What emerged was a trio of stories connected by a common thread: magic that doesn't quite behave as intended. One story, written under a pseudonym for Hungry for Your Love, the groundbreaking first zombie romance anthology, adds another layer of mystery to this unexpected gathering.

The result is a delightfully unpredictable collection that blends dark enchantment, wicked humor, and a dash of the uncanny.

Because sometimes the most powerful magic is the kind you never intended to unleash.

And sometimes, the stories waiting to be discovered are the ones that have been hiding in plain sight all along.
