Teaching Children to Read

Start reading to your children from when they are babies, it’s never too early to start to instil a love of books and learning in your children.
This knowledge will give them confidence and help them throughout their lives.
Also remember most junior classes in schools are overcrowded and the educator does not have time to teach each child individually, the children are usually taught in a group. This is usually sufficient if the child has previously learnt to read or learns easily, the average child however is sometimes left behind.
This is how one gets to hear horror stories of teenagers not being able to read, and it’s not because they are lazy, it’s because they get left behind and then become too embarrassed to admit that they can’t read.
Make sure this doesn’t happen to your child or your students.
