Publisher Description

Throughout this book we will explore passages in the Bible, where the Bible is very factually and logically contradicting itself. The purpose of this passage-by-passage analysis is to see if the religious claims of the infallibility and inerrancy of scripture can hold of up logical scrutiny. Scholars are well aware that many of the Biblical texts come from different Israeli and Jewish communities from different historical periods. Could it be that patriarchal time periods held a different view of who and what God is, when compared the first and second temple period of Judaism?

As we walk through the Bible, we will illustrate and examine how the Bible seems to be presenting, and then in a later historical period, rewriting its own theology. We will begin by showing the amazing contrasts in teaching and doctrine that exist between the two primary sections of the Jewish Bible - the Torah and the Prophets.
