Wearing a badge looks easy enough, but catching a killer isn't a walk in the park. 

Lucy Thompson is a sheriff's wife on a mission. While her husband is in a coma fighting for his life, she'll keep law and order. With the sheriff currently indisposed, Lucy's friends are convinced she can fill her husband's shoes and serve their town better than any interim sheriff. That is, until a murder is committed.

When the prime suspect flees, Lucy is forced to travel across county lines. She'll chase down a lead in an effort to find a suspect, but catching a killer may not be as simple as it seems.
