Publisher Description

This book is for all of those believers who have prayed for a miracle but have not been healed or delivered. It tells the stories of ten such people and celebrates the grace that these people have been given by God to walk with Him through difficult times. It explains the scriptural basis for saying that miracles are rare, but grace is normal. It examines the results of a survey I conducted with 24 people, discussing their thoughts on these matters. Finally, it explores the different kinds of supernatural experiences God's people are having today.

We all long for instant ends to our trials, quick fixes to our problems. Our churches can be guilty of putting too much focus on miracles and not enough on grace. God is capable of answering our prayers for healing and working miracles, yet He does so only rarely. When God demonstrates a strong preference for grace over miracles, who are we to disagree? In this book, I argue that we can celebrate and give thanks for this grace, rather than live in disappointment when miracles don’t happen.
