Like your favorite novel so good
The story oozes with description and detail. As a reader/listener you are fully transported into Tara Westovers life and I enjoyed EVERY. second. of it. The contradiction of religion vs. education is breathtaking. I admire Taras courage and character development as she openly tells us about it. It leaves you not wanting to put down the book and changes your gratitude on your own education.
Absolutely Incredible.
I had a very strong emotional reaction to many of the scenes described in the book. So brutal, so graphic, so reflective, and so much love. A truly incredible story that makes you think about parenthood, knowledge, pain, family, home, and so many other important things in our live.
