Finding Solace in Deadwood

Chicago was the only home I had ever known. Mom was the only family I had. Before she passed, she told me a secret. Now she’s gone, I’m pregnant, and my boyfriend threatened the life of my unborn child along with my own. I needed to disappear.

I contacted the one person Mom trusted and I headed to Deadwood, South Dakota. What I found in Deadwood was more than I ever imagined possible for my lackluster life. But will it be enough?
