Tyson Gibbs used to be a straight-A student. Following behind his cousin, Craig, he ends up on the streets of Lawrenceville hustling and selling drugs and anything he can get his hands on. Tyson, also known as Ty on the streets of Lawrenceville, has been carrying a family secret for some years.

Tyson decides to make peace with his sexuality, but some boys from the hood have a hard time warming up to the idea that one of their homies could possibly be gay.

Craig ends up in jail.

Tyson drops out of school, and all the family secrets start coming out of the woodwork.
