Better than its cover design

Everything in life is a negotiation as Chris Voss points out.

How much you pay for your house & car, when your children go to bed, how often you’re intimate with your partner, and so much more.

This is one of the most valuable life skills to master and learning from the best is the way to do it!

Highly recommend to use this as a workbook instead of an entertaining listen/read

Good content, intriguing storytelling

One of the better books about negotiating deals. I like the notion that emotions influence our rationale and that you have to be aware of your, as well as your counterpart’s mental state in order to make successful deals. Some strategies I already considered to be best practice, others were new to me.

Will this book change my life? Probably not - but then again, none ever really did.

I’d recommend the read if you only ever learned about the rational negotiation tactics.
