Living on the streets has been really hard on Dave and Allen, but when Dave actually buys a scratcher, as in the California Lottery, instead of a candy bar, it pays off for him and his best friend. Their good fortune comes just in time for Dave to enjoy a few more moments of real living. A story that has brought two friends from rags to riches, but the riches cannot save Dave from his fate.
