A terrible threat hangs over the Village, yet it is also a chance. For the world is much bigger than the humans imagined and they occupy but a tiny part of it.

And while they ran around with sticks and dressed in animal hides, monumental events took place around them. Nicholas has now landed right in the epicenter of these events.
