The Locked Garden

Unlock the secrets of Larkthorn Hall this year…

When librarian Evie Temple takes an archiving job at a remote Yorkshire manor house, she hopes it will be the escape she’s desperately been seeking.

But what she finds at Larkthorn Hall is something else entirely. Hidden behind an ivy-covered gate lies an abandoned garden, locked and forgotten for nearly a century.

As Evie begins to unravel its secrets, she discovers a trail of hidden love letters and a heartbreaking story of sacrifice.

But Larkthorn has more surprises in store. When a troubled teenager, his formidable grandmother and a grumpy but handsome gardener all arrive to shatter her peaceful solitude, Evie must figure out if what she has been searching for has been right there all along.

From the internationally bestselling author Rowan Coleman comes this beautiful novel inspired by the classic The Secret Garden.
