Not as good as Cyrus or Joe Series

Philomena is a heroine with less genius and more naivety then one is used from
M.Robotham’s other protagonists of previous series. Since the reader learns early on about the scale of disturbancies of the stalker girl and Phil still trusts and suspects no harm it’s all a bit - meh.
The ultimate bore is the sudden change of mind in the fiancé’s character. Completely unexpected and without any reason the main characters end in a surprise happy end which is absolutely unnecessary - this book is supposed to be the first of a new series.
Still three stars because MR is a great writer and paints the characters with great love for detail and understanding complex circumstances.
