The cities of Atlantis, Avalon, Xanadu, and Shangri-La may exist out of place, out of time, and out of legend, but behind every legend lurks a kernel of truth. The United States has its own mythical city: Dreamland, Area 51. Secrecy has never dispelled the UFO lore—and that is the departure point for 51 Ghost Town. What looks like a quaint mining town holds secrets older than humanity's oldest civilizations, the wellspring of legends of dragons, fairies, gods, and, more recently, aliens, time slips, and interdimensional travel.
