A Book Of Fractured Fairy Tales

Welcome to our eBook! This eBook is a collection of fractured fairy tales written by a creative class of fifth graders at Parkway Elementary in Alliance, Ohio from the classes of Miss Stephanie Sage, and Mrs. Docia Grimm. 


As an end of the year writing adventure, the students indulged in reading several fairy tales and then used their imaginations to create their own versions of the familiar fairy tales by changing point of view, characters, setting, and other story elements.  Each story is highly entertaining, with humor and originality. The students created and scanned in illustrations to enhance their stories.

Our goal as teachers is to expand our students’ audience as authors from their classmates and parents, to the entire world!  We have the goal of really getting our students excited about writing and reading in new and innovative ways.  With the technology available, we can create an audience for our young authors far beyond what they have ever expected in the classroom.  Students are also able to contribute to a global learning community.  We hope you download and enjoy our eBook, and then spread the word!
