A Dangerous Affair

Though thoroughly enjoying the company of the male sex, Clara Mantell has no opinion of marriage. She might one day find a gentleman who can offer her the freedom she desires with the devotion she demands, but she is not holding her breath, and foils every attempt by man or her mother to attach her.

So, when her family retires to Bath for the winter, Clara goes her length to flirt and enslave hearts, even that of her friend Lawrence Simpford.
